Public Speaking and Presentation
1. Audience analysis
Know who the audience is, what they already know, what they need, and how much time is available. A technical presentation to specialists and the same content simplified for a general audience are genuinely different presentations.
2. Selecting and researching the topic
Choose a topic scoped to the time available - a broad topic in a short slot forces shallow coverage. Research thoroughly enough to answer likely follow-up questions confidently.
