Summary

Wildlife is undomesticated animals and plants in their natural habitat. Its distribution depends on climate, relief, soils, vegetation and water. Kenya protects it in national parks, game reserves and sanctuaries, which differ in who manages them and what is permitted. Tourism built on wildlife and beaches is a leading foreign exchange earner.
