Summary

Population distribution is where people live; density is how many per square kilometre. Growth depends on fertility, mortality and migration. A population pyramid shows structure by age and sex — Kenya's is broad-based with many young people, Sweden's is narrow-based with many elderly. Each structure creates a different dependency problem.
