Summary
Cultural globalisation is the spread and mixing of cultural practices, ideas and values across the world, driven mainly by media, migration, trade, education and the internet. Its effects run both ways: Kenyan learners consume music, films, fashion and food from elsewhere, and Kenyan music, athletics, fashion and cuisine reach global audiences. The honest assessment is neither celebration nor alarm. Some exchange enriches, some pressure erodes, and the outcome depends substantially on whether communities deliberately maintain what they value.
