Summary

A noun names something. This topic covers four types, sorted along two separate lines. Common and proper answer how specific is it? — a general class or one particular named thing. Concrete and abstract answer can it be sensed? — something you can see or touch, or an idea you cannot. The two pairs are independent, so every noun has one label from each.
