Summary

An explanatory narrative is a story that carries an explanation or lesson within its events, often about cause and consequence -- exactly the shape a road safety story naturally takes: a choice, an event, a result. This topic covers identifying who is in such a story, tracking what happens in what order, and drawing out the lesson the sequence of events teaches.
