Summary

A rich young man asked Jesus what he needed to do to inherit eternal life. Though he had kept the commandments faithfully, Jesus told him to sell his possessions and give to the poor. The young man went away sad, unable to let go of his wealth, teaching us about the challenge of putting God above material possessions.
