Summary

While tending sheep near Mount Horeb, Moses encountered God speaking to him from a burning bush that was not consumed by the flames. God told Moses he had seen his people's suffering in Egypt and was sending Moses to lead them out of slavery. Moses' humble, reverent response models how we should approach God's call.
