Summary

On Mount Carmel, Elijah challenged the prophets of Baal to a test to reveal which was the true God. While Baal gave no response to his prophets' desperate pleas, the LORD answered Elijah's simple prayer with fire from heaven, proving beyond doubt who the true God is.
