Summary

When two women both claimed to be the mother of the same baby, King Solomon used a clever test to reveal the truth -- proposing to cut the baby in half. The true mother's love led her to give up her claim rather than see the child harmed, revealing who she really was. The story shows the wisdom God gave Solomon, and Proverbs 9:10 reminds us that true wisdom begins with honouring God.
