1. Role and impact of technology in communication

Technology has expanded how and how fast organisations communicate - instant messaging, video calls, shared documents replace much of what used to require physical presence or postal delay. Not only positive: raises expectations of constant availability, and can reduce the richness of communication compared to face-to-face, since tone and non-verbal cues carry less information through most digital channels.
