Summary

Glaciation is the work of ice in eroding, transporting and depositing material. Ice erodes by plucking and abrasion. In highlands it carves cirques, arêtes, pyramidal peaks and U-shaped troughs; in lowlands it leaves moraines, drumlins, eskers and outwash plains. In Kenya, glacial features occur only on Mount Kenya.
