Summary

Warehousing is the storage of goods from the time they are produced until they are needed, and it creates time utility. Its three stages are receiving, storing and releasing. Warehouses are private, public or bonded — and a bonded warehouse holds imported goods on which duty has not yet been paid, which is the distinction most often examined.
