Summary

Citizenship is full membership of a state, carrying rights and responsibilities. Kenyan citizenship is acquired by birth or by registration, and the 2010 Constitution permits dual citizenship. Every right carries a corresponding responsibility. National integration is the process of uniting the diverse peoples of a country into one nation.
